Stage 1 V8

Hello all,

I am a series 3 88" owner with a 3.5 v8 conversion. Recently had a holley carb put on, has any one here ever done this or tried to put a snorkel on? Thanks for any help in advence.

If you contact RPI Chris will send you a picture of a snorkel setup one of his customers made. Basically its a large stainless steel box which houses the airfilter. One side has a hole that the flexi pipe comes out of and into the snorkel. But it does look to sit high also I've read on a thread somewhere of a top hat and a separate airbox setup. I'll do some hunting.

my problem is that i have no air box or filter to start from. I can make a air box out of ally or stainless no probs at work but need a filter to work around. thanks so far!
