blown fuses

when replacing a blown fuse, i read in the handbook there are 2 kind of fuses, 17 amp and 35 amp.
fuse 1 is for the lights
fuse 2 is for indicators, windscreenwipers and wash
fuse 3 is for ignition and warninglights, stoplights, fuelpump
one and two 17 amp and 3 35 amp?
