Stage 1 New Chassis

Can anyone tell me which one of the chassis manufacturers build the Stage 1 chassis...Ive e-mailed them all but not had any replies..

HI,

WE WILL BE STOPPING MAKING 109” CHASSIS SOON, BUT AT THE MOMENT WE DO HAVE A STAGE 1 V8 STATIONWAGON IN STOCK.

THE PRICE IS £1300 + VAT, DELIVERY DEPENDS WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED.

Are all the ST1 chassis the same?I,m a little confused as to why the reply mentions its a SW chassis..I thought they would all be the same..

they did make a limited number of stage 1 short wheel base truck!!!!!

I think there's a difference with the outriggers, whether its a hardtop or stationwagon version

I think I'd better decide whether I'm patching the old chassis or replacing it with a new one soon.

Does anyone know if Designa Chassis still do a Stage 1 chassis?

Marslands will only be doing another 5x 109" chassis before they discontinue making them..

Richards are keen to get their hands on a ST1 chassis to jig it up..I have offered mine but i,m up in Scotland so not so easy..Maybe Richards would consider a SWB ST1 chassis build , i will see..

Are there any more interested parties for a ST1 chassis ?????

Glencoyne bought the last Stage 1 chassis Marslands had in stock for my project last year - at that point neither Designa nor Richards were willing to make Stage 1's.

Marslands have a St1 CSW chassis in stock and like i said are soon to stop 109" manufacture..

The price is £1762,50 delivered to Angus , Scotland..

Just to update everyone. Just phoned Marslands. They have now definatley stopped making all 109" chassis incl. V8. No more stock available.

Paddocks still have them on their website, but have confirmed that it is wrong and they don't stock them (not a surprise as Marslands are their supplier!)

I,m going to strip my parts Stage 1 shortly and try to get it down to Richards..They probably see a gap in the market if all others are stopping making them..My other ST 1 has a mint chassis but would be nice to know you can get one somewhere..
