Hello friends, my name is Tin and I am 24 years old and I from Spain. I am a new member of this wonderful and funny web!!!
Actually I have one Land Rover, my model is "Santana Cazorla 6 cylinders" manufactured in 1980, with 3.5 Litres Diesel. This engine is the 4 cylinders Rover + 2 cylinders, it was developed by Santana in 1977-78, we would to tell that it was the "reply" of Santana to Land Rover Stage 1 V8.
My 6 Cyl. is the third Land Rover in my family, my grandfather in 1968 bought the 88 Land Rover, and in 1980 bought 109 SIII with 3 doors.
I send you these photos of my LAndy, in other post I send you more details, engine, interior...
I hope that it will be the start of many others post!!
Bye............ and Regards from Spain!!!!!

LAND ROVER, the best!!!
Welcome to the forum Tin.
A very interesting vehicle you have there and in what looks like excellent condition.
The bonnet arrangement is interesting. Is that original? Looks like Santana just extended the radiator grille and plugged the gap between the standard Series III bonnet. The Santana roof is also very different. Is there more head room with one of those fitted?

Hello friends,
Now I add more detail photos of my Land Rover, you can see engine, interior, and the protection for mud that I made with pieces of plastic and I put them in the "corners". With this invention is so easy to clean and the mud not accumulate in the chassis.
Larry,
My car is original, It was the first Land Rover with rectangular headlights, however, the first 6 cylinders (1978) was equipped with circularheadlights.
after, 1980-83 aprox. it was equipped with rectangular hedlights. after these models, the 6 cylindes were equipped again with circular headlights.
With these photos you can see the details.
If you have any question of my Land Rover, please, ask me and I reply you very happy.
Regards from Spain!!

Gary, I answer your questions of capacity tanks and the engine consume.
Capacity tanks:
front tank: 48L.
rear tank: 50L.
The engine consume is about 14-15L. 100Km/h approx.
What is the consume of V8?? I don't Know but a think that is so probable that it is more "drinking" that my Santana....
I send you photos of my Santana with me climbing a mountain last weekend.
