New from Belgium

Post by steven 90 »

In case somebody wonders why i can not write proper Englisch.I am from Belgium :P
I don't have a real stage 1 because i have a 90 with a 3.5 range engine.
currently rebuilding the engine and running on lpg with a holly.
At work i somethimes drive 1 of the best stage 1 left in belgium.
It is the fire-truck from the company where i work,it has done 7000 km (yes seven tousand 8) ) km since new.
We keep it warm and dry inside in case we need it.Never had a real fire so it runs only ones a week to keep it in good order 8)
I have tried to buy it but they won't let go

Regards Steven
(Feel free to correct the me if my englisch is serious off  )

Hi Steven,

welcome to the forum. My english isn`t perfect too. But up `til now, I think everybody understood what I wanted to say. So, don`t worry. Here a tip:
If you are from Belgium, perhaps you can go to the Land Rover parts market on the first saturday in May, in Aachen, Germany. Sometimes you can buy rare things to good prices.

regards

Both of you can rest easy - your English far outstrips my command of German, French or Flemmish  . I am sure that a lot of people will agree.

Speaking for myself, (and maybe for some of the other English speakers) I am sure there are times when your understanding of technically "correct" English is better than mine (ours).
