max,

You have said that your stage1 has a military chassis on it, looking at the pictures you have the rear cross member appears to be a civilian one. I didnt know that there was a "military" stage 1 chassis.

the man replaced the chassis with a new one...whether it was a newer military one or not i don't know. the chassis was replaced in 2005 which almost caused problems with immigrations. I've just checked through my paperwork and i can't find any record of what type of chassis was fitted, you're probably right though, you never know with ebay...i'll email the guy i bought it from and i'll see what he says. He had it fitted so i guess he'll know.
