I just bought a brand new one. Ex NZ Army stock for NZ$30. I reckon the postage would kill it, but I could ask the bloke if he has anymore. Its not genuine LR, but made up in a mould, perfect fit, what more can you ask for.
Let me know if you can get it sent cheap enough to make it worthwhile.

I've got one. I just put a 16" thermo fan in and I have the cowl just sitting there on the side.
Let me know if you want some photos.

Hi Tel. Yeah there was absolutely gallons of old stock sold off when they got rid of all the stage 1's. I'll email the guy that I know who bought a lot of it and ask for you. I think a fair bit has been sold off now, I got a set of them myself, but I am not sure if there are anymore. I'll get back to you in a few days.Bumpkin wrote:Kwikstage.
JUst a long shot. Was there any new old stock spares available when all that Stage 1 stuff was sold of by the army. Lookin for Railco bush and pin sets?
Thanks
Tel

I've got series 2 bits for miles, I even have them stored at Mum & Dads place. I'm actually thinking of giving up my series 2 project. I've found a forward control ex ambulance that I want to buy. It has all stage 1 running gear. Just gotta talk the wife into it!!!!Bumpkin wrote:Beauty.
Need any Series 2 bits?

This one needs a bit of chassis work and the engines poked, but apart from that its pretty good. I can have it for NZ$1500, which is close to 500 english pounds. I reckon its a bargain, the wife aint so easy to convince
