just a question. Could RR hubs and brakes be fitted to stage one swivel balls? would allow them to be bolted onto the original housing.

A mate of mine has welded a pair of Disco disc sets on his S2. I think the bolts did not line up.Not advisable but he did it some time ago and everything appears well.

my early rr look like bolt on but they have grooves in them so was thinking of using the stage1 swivel balls. the later rr had an extra bolt.
