fuel & water temp voltage regulator

Post by martin hughes »

Does anybody know where the voltage regulator is which feeds both of the gauges through light green wires?

Has anybody experianced problems with this?

Spectacularly unreliable. How can something so simple give so much trouble? All there is in it is a bimetallic strip and a couple of contacts. Tends to stick, resulting in high temperature and fuel level readings. If anyone fancies making a solid state replacement, I'll buy a few.
