Fairey questions:

1. Does anyone know the laygear endfloat clearance? Either model of overdrive.

2. Where to buy parts.

- Craddock now appear to be a joke for anything, especially service.

- GLF charge VAT on export orders, so an extra 50 pounds for a kit that I shouldn't have to pay.

- Synchro gearboxes are okay but they don't have everything and shipping is DHL or DHL (efficient but not cheap).

When I had to get such hard to find info for my Thomas winch (I wanted to convert it from electric to PTO), I went to the manufacturer, only to learn the company had been sold, so I went to the new owners. After some haggling and convincing, I managed to get them to send me the working drawings for the worm drive variations and so on. It was the only way I could work out what I needed.

Maybe that is needed here?
