Stage 1 V8

Hi.im trying to fit a horn as there isn’t one in the engine bay.ive looked at the wire coming from the stalk and it’s brown/black.i can’t locate a brown/black wire in the engine bay.can anyone tell me whereabouts in the engine bay the horn should be fitted and if the wire that feeds it should be black/brown.

Look in your owner's handbook, the manual, parts list or accessories parts list. All of which picture it. Behind the grille, LHS, visible from outside the car, same as 110.

Single wire, single terminal horn, positive supply, not earth return. Though there may be a second wire present.

Your handbook and manual both have wiring diagrams. From memory, standard purple/black. Your trafficator may well be a mystery brand replacement. Although Lucas weren't always precise with such short lengths of horn wire colours on switches.
