Stage One For Sale - Massive Spec!
Posted: Thu Jul 05, 2018 5:46 pm
Hi All,
My Stage One is up for sale. First registered 01/08/1982, I have owned it for ten years. Vehicle gets very little use now as my partner is somewhat less than keen on it, refuses to travel further than the local tip in it, has decided her camping days are behind her too, and (to add insult to injury) wants us to become caravanists! She also feels I only require one vehicle now I’ve entered semi-retirement. So in the interests of a quiet life I will be putting an ad on eBay in the next week or two, with an asking price of £12.5k but am offering it here first with a £500 discount. This basically represents an amount that, along with the sale of my car, will get me into something agreeable to us both. Whilst I’m prepared to consider offers, please bear in mind I don’t really want to sell and don’t need the money. Also, I won’t consider parting with any of the spares before a sale.
Vehicle is currently undergoing a full service (its fourth service in less than 4k miles!) at Flimwell Garage, Bodiam, East Sussex, where it has been looked after for the last eight years. In my ownership it has been maintained regardless of cost with only o/e or better parts used. I’ve never washed the exterior and it bears the hallmarks of a properly used Landy...even coming with patches of moss and lichen. I will get some pics up asap but currently on me jollies.
