Stage 1 on ebay, looks nice, galvanised chassis and fully rebuilt. However it was rebuilt on a 110 coil sprung chassis and has 110 axles......shame

All seems a bit pointless. It is a 110 with ill fitting 109 series III panels.

The bit I find amusing is the ad does push the benefit of the engine rebuild, 30 years ago!

I like the concept and expect it was done at a time 110s where significantly more money but for me personally I would prefer it today on leaves.

The Stage 1 that isn't (any more). I saw it on ebay and considered posting a link to it here but thought there wasn't enough Stage 1 left to be relevant. It's a Land Rover curiosity and may appeal to somebody (but £15,000 worth??) but not me - those sticky-out wheels look odd and need 110 wheel 'eyebrows' - much as I prefer the Series wheelarch look, that nice clean paintwork won't stay looking like that for long without them! (with them, it would resemble those 110 prototypes that Dunsfold have some of which look quite cool - but it definitely needs a proper Stage 1 grille) (And ok, it's a nice colour - same as that Sandringham 6x6 I posted a picture of incidentally)

Looks like Pastel Green? As Geoff says, about the only thing going for it.
