Looking for a Stage 1 Station Wagon...

Hi all

I'm on the lookout for a Stage 1 Station Wagon, ideally in good condition as I don't really fancy another project yet.

As well as this forum, I'm keeping an eye on eBay, Auto Trader, Car & Classic, plus the LR forums but I know these come up very rarely so am prepared to wait.

If you're thinking of selling or know someone who is, please ping me. I'm in the UK but happy to consider Europe if RHD.

Great forum by the way - good atmosphere, lots of hints, tips and good advice picked up - solidarity in small numbers I guess!

Cheers

Neil

Good luck.

The odd one in NZ comes up for sale from time to time.

There was one a few weeks ago too. Quite a few ex-army Stage 1's come up too.

Yes, thanks, I'd seen the County SW (190833425088) in the LRM article before and that car is glorious but it's probably double the budget I had in mind. The other one you spotted (221221698958) is a hardtop with windows added but I really need the extra pair of doors and the extra row of seats...

Does anyone have any information on a Java Green SW currently on sale in Holland? It's a UK RHD Stage 1 on sale here http://voorraad.venvautoservice.nl/zoek ... =3071&pw=1 (the date on the photos suggests it's been on sale for 6 months) but before that, I think it was on sale here http://www.laro4x4.nl/Land%20Rover%2010 ... 01982.html. Somewhere in between, it's lost its UK plates (SFR 109X) and gained a Dutch registration and the front light panel surrounds have been changed (corrected :?: )
