Two air intakes in wings?

Post by vbdave26 »

It was just brought to my attention that I have an air intake on both side wings of my Stage 1. Any idea why this would have ever happened or what functionality it might or might not have had?

Hi dave

At a guess i would say YOUR o/s/f wing was imported at some point and fitted to your car or your car was a r/h/d car and converted to l/h/d and they left the other wing on i don't know :)

Sounds about right. The car is still RHD - never converted.

Dave - in a related story... I imported my RHD Stage One with no holes in either fender. It took me a year or two to realize it, as well.

I fixed that with a small saw and a used intake grate from another Series III owner (Jude in Roanoke).
