There is an article about these Southern Electric (SEB) Stage 1's in the July 2020 issue of Classic Land Rover magazine. The same issue contains an article about the prototype registered RHP175R.

Found and rescued a 2nd SEB Stage 1. Betty as shes' called will make a good pair with my existing SEB. Very original, but in need to TLC. Interesting double battery tray and split charging system. I'll be needing some 569204 wheel rims, bulkhead, exhaust, SEB roof rack, and bonnet if anybody can help? Kind regards, George

Well done. Is the bonnet buckled? I've had to take my spare off mine for that reason and haven't yet found a way to straighten and repair it.

Not sure where to get a suitable bonnet from either.

Hi Alan, Just years of workers walking either side of the spare wheel to get at stuff on the roof rack has given either side a good ripple effect.
