The Eagle has landed!!

So today my stage one finally arrived!! Took a bit to get here from NZ, but thrilled, .....lol
Turned the key, nothing happens
Tested batteries, Dead
Bought new batteries...
Car turns over, but will not seem to fire.
Have Gas, its flowing, tried on right and left tank.
tried starter fluid, no dice, ...any suggestions appreciated...
Still she is awesome!
