Playing with the Go Pro. Sorry I haven't worked out how to rotate the video file, but it's the sound you need!!

Nice, and your engine bay is ridiculously clean and shiny!
Be better if the picture wasn't sideways of course.

One of the jobs that Alice has been upto.
Taking my father in law's car to an event at Silverstone. The series 1 by the way is up for sale if anyone is interested!!!
A stage 1 trailering a series 1, not many days you get to see this!! Caused quite a few head turns as I trundled down the road.

Re: Alice to the road!!
Thanks to disco2hse for sorting the pics out. (I was going to re post these)
An explanation why I have put these up, as the vehicle is clearly not a stage 1, but, a series 2A which was affectionately known as the 'Hoo' and was my father's Landrover. This was the first vehicle that I drove and so potentialy the source of my desire to own such a vehicle.
In the top picture, that's me sat in the drivers seat (where else?) on the chain ferry from Pool over to Swanage on the south coast of the UK, heading off to Scout camp, a good few years ago!!! I'm trying to find out what happened to the 'Hoo' as it would be great to see if she is still on the road after all this time.
Alice is still going strong, having passed another MOT after changing some ball joints, and has now covered 20,000 miles since I got her back on the road. Still got a list of things that need doing though!!!

No problem
Good luck with finding the HOO. These are what dreams are made from.

Alice in the snow!!
One observation is that the Cooper tyres are just brilliant, they just grip. Had great satisfaction in driving round all these 'new fangled' high tech motors with their banks of ECU's going now where fast. Heater works so well I'm having to turn the temp down!!

Re: Alice to the road!!
Sounds great. These are reasons why the Stage 1 is such a good machine.

Re: Alice to the road!!
Everyone on the forums seems to be posting pics of their Landies in the snow, so here are a couple more of the snow in Leicestershire today - oh, and a couple of Stage Ones:

Thanks again disco2hse for sorting the pics again. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, using the BB code from flikr to post.
Re: Alice to the road!!
No problem.
I just take the actual image url out and use that. The rest is bumph.

Re: Alice to the road!!
Just copy and paste the BB Code - you can cut out the part that gives your name etc as I do and as Alan suggests if you want to - but don't use the Img tab in the Reply box - if you don't believe me, I have reproduced below exactly what you got by employing that tab. (Use the Preview button to experiment with editing out any unwanted parts of the BBCode - if you edit out all but the picture itself it will remove any link to your flickr, so that's up to you)
