Valve stem shafts

Hi,

I have a question: The manual says, that at the stems of the inlet valves there should be valve stem seals installed. I bought 8 pieces, and I got 8 "gumdiscs". Does anybody know how they should be fitted? Do I only have to push them over the valve stems and it is allright?

regards
Horst

If you have 8 flat rubber washers, then 1 of each is pushed over the valve stem before the springs and collets.

If you have had the later valve guides fitted, the stem seals lock onto the top of the guide.
