Below some pics. Its a 1980 dutch original in good shape.
Run on LPG (two tanks) and still got a lot of power. Restrictors are still in.
I am looking for an overdrive (LT95) any toughts?

Two things to think about. It is unmolested so it's probably a good idea to leave it that way. Ditto the OD. But, if it's a higher top gear speed you want you could think about putting in Rangie top gears.

The other thing is there are quite a few LT95s appearing about the place but you might be better off considering giving yours a rebuild. Any LT95 you buy will probably need it anyway, and since you already have one,...

I agree the rangie gearing is the way to go, and what i will be doing to mine once i find a suitable box to rob of parts

I am not an expert but from what I have seen from this forum I coud say that putting an overdrive is a messy, did you considered a new gear box of 5 speeds?

Given the reaction i decided not to fit an OD.
I guess its true that whgatever you buy is probably old and worn.
The pictures look at bit better than up close but i am more than satified. I sprayed it with my small compressor. That is what makes te differences.

Take a look at this picture. That is why it needed paint.
Had to replace roof, bonnet and wing.

How was the suspension after that?

Suspension?. Well i as worried of course and had an expert take a look.
Everthing still in good order. So the damage was aluminium only.... and a lot of time hard work to fix everything. not insurred of course.

Seems you got off lucky then, and especially lucky that no one was in there.
