Can anyone post or send some engine bay pics of the hand throttle assembly?
Finally got one and not 100% on how it all connects. Thought I had a parts list illustration but can't find it.

It's in the Optional Parts catalogue but the picture is not very helpful. I will see what the weather's like tomorrow and see if I can take photos. The hand control is on the passenger side below the dash and goes through the firewall. The lever and rod are on the firewall under my air filter.

Bar should be straight. I wondered what was holding the engine in.

This looks to be 4 or 6, not V8?

They are the same. The other end connects to the accelerator cable.
It is the diesel one that is different.

The ones pictured are shown above a 4 or 6 cyl gearbox. The parts list seems to suggest the use of a short cable and sundry fittings, not connecting rods.

My bad. You're right, it does use cables :}
Bit hard to get at because it's under the air cleaner.

That's better. I now know which rivnut not to install. Also, I'm missing parts from the pedal end.
The 110 parts list was suggesting a different pivot on the manifold but I was hoping for a simple connection at the pedal's pivot.

Yeah the accelerator end is a bit complicated because there are two controls that come together there. Friction seems to play a part too. I set the hand control and that does a little to the engine revs, but then I push the accelerator pedal and it 'sticks' where I push it too.
Don't know if that's how it's supposed to work, but it does so I ain't messing with it
