Stage 1 V8

Hi Folks,

I'm a UK Stage 1 SW owner and find myself in NZ for several months. I arrived here a couple of weeks ago and am considering my transport options!

As I'm already missing my Stage 1, I'm considering trying to find one here (I'm in Wanaka - so it'd be great for getting up the mountain!) and was wondering if anyone (thinking specifically about the NZ owners/forum members) might have any specific advice for where/how to locate a decent, running vehicle. I've had a look around TradeMe but there's nothing there at the moment.

If I manage to locate a really nice ex-army Stage 1 (24V electrics and all!) I might even be tempted to take it back to the UK with me - it'd most likely be extremely unique there.

You might find it a little light on the "decent, running vehicle" department

But yes, that has been listed a few times now and I have to wonder why. If I had the space, time, and money I'd be in like Flynn.
