Anyone tried dealing with Craddock (electronically) since their website facelift?

My account seems to no longer exist. They don't respond to messages and you can't send a direct e-mail.

By the way, has LR Orphanage resurfaced?

Well over a week has passed since I reported the problem to Craddock and no reply. So I've now had to open an account again in order to make a purchase.

They really don't seem to interested.

both of the *addocks are slow, britpart selling, lack of service and customer focused series haters in my view.

Plenty of other proper specialists out there eg Dunsfold and LR Series.

Dunsfold can be hit and miss. Just ordered a few items and checked their stock list. Received reply and only half the items were available. Checked again to find they had overnight amended their stock list (the one they say you should check before ordering).

They also like to charge for post/freight. I've paid 30 GBP post on a parcel that cost them 3 pounds to send.

They are old school.

Phone them, talk to them, and do it that way.

Works for me and the knowledge you get from a real and knowledgable person is well worth the old fashioned approach!

I used to deal with them and did intend to spend a lot more money, until they repeatedly played me about with no interest in sorting the problem they caused.

Turns out that with the new Craddock Website, all existing accounts were lost (or rather, not compatible with the new system).

Despite sending out all the Craddock spam, they actually didn't bother to advise their clients directly what had happened and seem to think this is all perfectly OK. So to, the one month old outstanding order of mine, which once again they didn't bother to advise me what was going on.

Why not use Roversnorth? They are closer to you (just across the Pacific). Freight will probably be less.
