I got mine from Partco, they typed in the registration number and it came up, I think it's the same as a regular Series 3?

When you replace the slave cylinder, be very careful not to pull too hard and pull the white plastic actuator out too. It's the devil's own job to get it back together. Don't ask me how I know

As per the parts list from this site; it's not the same as four or six cylinder.

I have always bought genuine and never had a problem with cylinder or kit.

It should be the same as concurrent Range-Rover but you should check that with a R-R parts list.

Clutch slave cyilinder part number

Post by pomme fritz »

Hi mate I had the same issue recently.

Parts book number states UKC8677 but no-one recognises this.

The current part number is FTC5071.

You can check this by typing it into John Craddocks web parts search.

Take care to withdraw the cylinder straight (slacken the retaining bolts evenly, spring tension will let the cylinder follow out.) I managed to break off the plastic clip holding the clutch release push rod to the clutch release arm and trust me it's not fun getting a new one in through the slave cylinder opening!

Good luck.
