Hello,

As I’ve never owned a Land Rover before I thought I would tempt myself into something simple and opt for a Stage 1 V8!!!

Well let me introduce Margo; we prefer to call her Mrs Bingham. She is a very original Series III 109 V8 Hardtop with only two previous owners. My plans are to restore her to her former glory over time, but as she is perfectly usable now I thought it rude not to enjoy her through the summer. No doubt I’ll be blessed with the usual problems associated with these beasts and thus come running to all you hardened owners for advice. Likewise I can share my experiences both good and bad.

I’ll add some photos when I get round to taking some.

hello

Attached is a picture of Margo as promised. I apologise about the quality but I took it with my phone.

As soon as I get around to finding a better way of hosting pictures I’ll upload some more.

Hiya
Shes a Booty,i think i've seen it before.I would like to have my Stage 1 looking nice but i'm to rough on her.Winter time shes full of wood or beaters every weekend and normally shit-high.It is taking its toll though, shes of the road now with brake problems.

Howdy :)

Good looking wagon there. Doesn't look like you have to do too much to it, and it is good to see one in grey.

Mine is pretty rough by comparison. Gets a hard life (what they are built for) but running real well at the mo' (touch wood).

I think you are right of course. In the photo and on my screen it looked grey but it is more likely Marine Blue, which is kind greyish/blue to me, as opposed to the bright Pageant Blue.
