Lock Stops

Rebuilding my front axle and come accross a slight issue
i have the standard seres ones on the front of the swivel housing on one side
the other side had a larger plate bolted to two of the swivel bolts which i assume was doing the same thing
so question is which is the right one or should it have both
anyone got a pic of there front axle?

What part of the axel do you want to see? The swivels? Can take a picture tomorrow for you :)

now sorted- my s2 1ton pars book says that the plate is for locating the jack -why youd only want to locate it on one side i dont know

actualy could still do with the pics-now dont know which side the brakcet goes
need pics of the bottom of the axle where the swivel joins the casing
