Hi guys just wondering if anyone here has tried to get 35" tyres under there stage 1
I know I can get 33 under there.
I have a set of rims coming which are 16x8 and was looking at either 285x75x16 (33") or 315x75x16 (35") I allready have army hangers on mine so it sits abit higher.
If I go to 35" the gearing will be out abit and the speedo will be out by 10% but if I go 33" then there is not realy any issue.

I meant the inside of the guards, next to the engine bay, when you turn the steering wheel. You can reduce the amount of turn but that will obviously affect your turning circle.agrojnr wrote:Guards you can trim but will the army hangers be long enough to fit the 35s under
The longer shackles will create a greater vertical distance but when you articulate the rear axel the inner guards, next to the tray not the outside of the guard, will still rub. You can reduce the articulation but with obvious resulting limitations.
The other thing you can do is use wheels that have a lower offset to effectively move the tyre away from the inside edge of the guards. Of course this may mean cutting the guards to accomodate them.
