hose fittings

Post by firemanshort »

The only thing I can think of that might trip you up slightly is that a replacement tank may have slip on fittings at the tank and teh factory Land Rover fuel lines will have threaded joints.

You can cut off the threaded fitting and just slip on and use a clamp or other similiar process.

The standard tank and fuel sender for a Stage One only has straight 5/16" O/D tubes on new parts. You the need to purchase a new nut and olive to slide over them in order to connect to your plastic fuel lines.

Of course, if you purchase a new Britpart tank, you'll need a good selection of tools to point the tubes in the correct direction and to make them round so you can get the olive and nut on.
