Hi,
a question about chassis number: I`ve been offered a Stage One, chassis number is SALLBCMV2AA....
As far as I know, M means station waggon and ...V2... means LHD.
But it is a pick up, and it is RHD. Have there been exceptions, or do you believe someone has changed from a LHD sation Waggon to a RHD pickup?
regards
Horst

The link previously mentioned is pretty good.
You need to provide more information if you want answers to the other questions.
The Series III body and chassis is essentially ambidextrous. So as long as you have the relevant parts, you can change it to suit yourself.
There are oddball models but these are very rare. Australian diesels are all V8 by VIN.
