SO how much work is in fitting the fuel injection and appart from the computer what other parts are needed have the intake and throtel body ect no computer

Sorry i didnt get back to you, i thought i had a couple of early EFi ECUs in the workshop, but i couldnt find them. THey are on E-Bay often and only go for a 5er.

If you have everything (Manifold, injectors, fuel pump, pressure regulator, hot wire sensor) except the computer. I would be buying a Megasquirt ECU. It will allow you to tinker with the settings of the engine.
