It looks like my gas tank has a hole. I don't think that it is leaking outright. More of an evaporation thing.
Where can a guy get a gas tank for a Stage 1? I have visited the breaker sites and have come up with nothing. I am basing my research on the fact that the Stage 1 has a unique gas tank. Any ideas?

Gas tank woes
I presume you're on about a Petrol tank rather than an LPG tank.
When mine became more like a sieve than a tank, I replaced it with a standard 109" tank. Exactly the same apart from the fact that it appears that the V8 uses the 109" 4-cyl Diesel tank.
As you can see from the piccy (composite from the Series III parts manual), Part No. 599234 (109" 4-Cyl Diesel) is the one you want. Although I can't see any difference between that and 599233 which is used on the petrol 4-cyl and 6-cyl models.
