My new Station Wagon! (Soon anyway.)
I must be addicted: no sooner have I sold my first Stage 1 than I buy another. I have found the Stage 1 I was originally looking for, a station wagon; and at a very decent price.
It will come with 12 months MoT, 12 months tax, an LPG kit to fit, and a few spare parts.
Here are a few pics to whet your appetite!

In Pagent Blue. Not quite my favourite Java Green but a nice colour. Looks like an old Rangie in behind as well.Thats the kinda workshop i'd like.Looks to be in quite good order. I got one as well, just missing a wing.

Congrats! I was wondering if you ever saw Andy's Stage 1. It was listed in the Sales section back in June or July. He had sent me pics and I was very interested but also very busy with work so the logistics of getting it to the states seemed more than I could take on at the time.
It was very aggressively priced (for a quick sale) and looked very nice, at least from the pics. That was a bit unnerving since you have to wonder how it runs, or what is wrong with it, to be so well priced and so clean appearing.
Just curious if you had checked that one out.

235/85/16 Colway MTs on my 1 Tons on my Series 2.I still have my Stage 1 or do you mean Rob McCabes. The same tyre is OK on the 130 rims as that is what was on my Stage1. Its just the offset is a 1/2 inch different.

Yep, Pageant blue - I had an MGB GT in the same colour, and it looks ok on them (late 70s cars anyway). I can't decide if I like it on the Landrover or not. I shall be going to down to Carlisle on Saturday to pick it up, and them bringing it back to St. Andrews (I'm at the university here).
I thought about converting my old Stage 1 to a SW body, but apparently there's more to it than a simple body swap, so I decided not to.
Thanks guys.
