New guy from North Yorkshire

Post by meph373 »

Hello all,

I am a new Stage 1 owner. I have a Masai red '82 with parabolics and an LPC conversion. I'll post some pictures soon. She has no major problems... yet. I have to ferret out a buggy fuel gauge, and a slightly leaky tank. (I'm sure you can see where thats heading) The cold start light glows permanently, seems not normal somehow...impending doom?

I am planning on fitting 1.113:1 Range Rover gears (any thoughts on that?) I just bought an old Range Rover (oh god hopefully LT95) overdrive off of ebay. I am waiting with baited breath to see if Bumpkin sold his.

Just today I was walking past the scrap metal bin and picked up a rotten rear door with a defrost fitted. Hopefully it works. Lucky find? We'll see.

I'm certain that I will provide frequent exercise for your Landy lore.

Cheers!

I think you'll find that there is a micro switch clamped to your choke cable near the bulkhead, have a fiddle with that. It may sort out the choke light. Leaky tank usually means a new one.
