Hi

Just joined the forum - it's good to see some interest in the these vehicles.

I have a slightly tired 1981 Stage 1 with the 3.9L Isuzu diesel factory fitted. Called 'Grumbles'. I've attached a couple of photos below, as you can see she has changed a little bit as I run her with the soft top these days.

And Grumbles is currently in need of a new stub axle which seem to be made of unobtanium!

I bought Grumbles from a place called Dungog, north of Sydney in October 2000 and I'm currently located in Canberra.

She's running Parabolic Springs and has a rear Maxi-drive Locker and is my daily driver and we've both been some interesting places.

Hi Stirling - I think I've seen your vehicle on the Aus Land-Rover group?

Yep I'm on the AULRO forum, so you have a rear maxi eh? I'm still in the process of sorting out my front maxidrive. I can't wait to have it installed . When I do the conversion I'm going to end up with some spare CV's if you are still looking for one.
