Stage 1 Grille

Post by jackfolly »

Can anyone tell me where I might find replacement grille. My S1 has a defender grille in place at the moment which is just not right!

Mine has the same problem ie. Defender grille.

If £25 is too rich for jackfolly (wishful thinking! :) ), I will gladly take it off your hands instead.

I've just made myself a nice Stainless grill for my Stage 1, so the grill of the hicap is now available for the same money + postage which is 9 Pounds.Anyone want a stainless grill. Exact copy using 3mm square mesh 316 Stainless with a 5mm outer frame. Be a shame to paint it black though. They are 50 Pounds each. Way more attractive than those punched out things.

Bumpkin I presume the Hi-Cap had the standard Stage 1 grille. If so, it's a deal. PM me with your terms.

This is a 2a grill i make. I bead blast them to give them the galvanized look. This is the Series 2 clubs presentation stand.Shiney does not look that good on a Stage 1.I'll do a piccy of the grill before and after on the HiCap.

Are you going to post a photo of the Stage One grill (stainless one mentioned above)?

What is the basket / pouch thing on the Series II grill above? Is that just to hold display litereature?

Right chaps
This is the prototype Stage 1 S/S Grill in its raw state. No cleaning done at all yet.Imagine a light grey bead blasted finish as in the 2a grill above.
Well what do you think.

Very nice,
I took a different route with my grille. Stainless steel with the punched out squares, I then coloured in all the areas I wanted to remove and sat down with a die grinder for about a week to cut them all out... I went through grinding discs like you wouldn't beleive.
Just for kicks I put up the photo of the grill before getting to it with the grinder
