hey guys, where can i get a good altenator???, i want to add some extra stuff to my car and i can't seem to find a land rover one on ebay...

it's ok it turns out that my car actually has one as a standard feature...i thought all series 3s were meant to have altenators rather than dynamos??
so what happened to you?

I'm having the whole car rebuild, so I thought why not also change the alternator for a new one :0)

Check out the size of this alternator, my ex army truck runs a 24volt system, but with some cunning you can run 12volt gear aswell hehehe

looks like you run blackpool with tha alternator!! if you can find a good auto electrician, you can get the alternator revamped & starter motor nal, & lot cheeper than new ones n just as good...
