LHD 5 Door Stage One in great shape

Post by firemanshort »

The guy I deal with in the UK has this very pretty Stage One for sale. It is a LHD making it ideal for the US or other non-UK market.

His name is Mark Griffiths and he can be reached at 01484 542092.

Hey Fireman,

Do you know how much? Where in the UK is it? I know someone in Hawaii that is keen - no stupid DMV BS to deal with, unlike CA.

Did you get the email I sent you about Landy rentals?

Alan.

Price

I think he wants $30K USD but he says that it is mint. It is probably up near West Yorkshire / Huddersfield.

I am actually checking those 4x4 hire links now - they are all located down Soouff and I am visitig more up north but they are a great launching point.

Thanks!!

$30K !!!! By the time you ship that over and pay duty you are close to a NAS defender - my mate in Hawaii will be disapointed.

I would love to get my hands on a LHD Stage One wagon - for the right price I would spend the time and money to get it legal in CA - 30 grand is just too much - shame.

I think you meant "dan sarf."

If you have money to burn there are rental companies that will do you a Disco - I rented a V6 diesel from Hertz in Ireland about a year ago, it was amazing and of course just made me wonder why we don't see these incredible motors stateside.

When I rented with Hertz this summer in England they didn't have a contract with LR - hence the Touareg, still a great motor.

Enjoy your trip.

Bloody hell  Thats over £15,000

I realise its a mint LHD so ideal for export but the guy must be on drugs to think he would get that!

I wonder how much he would charge for a RHD? Without to much work it could easily be converted to LHD.

The seller of this truck might move on his price (might not... but might). I have seen the stuff he moves and it is generally spendy but always top quality.

A LHD Stage One is a pretty rare beast and this one does look good. If nothing else, it is good sleepy time dream material.
