Putting a S3 PTO in a Stage One

Post by JimB »

Technically not especially gifted here. But I have a decent mechanic. Here in Indonesia.

Will a PTO off a S3/Swb fit onto the LT95 transfer case. I looked at it. It looks ok, albeit a tight fit. I just want to know if the transfer case PTO plate is the same?

The bloke wants a fair bit for the PTO and I don't want to find out it doesn't fit. He's quite far away so I can't physically inspect the PTO and measure it.

Considering that the parts list doesn't even list the same gasket for the two variants, I'd say not.

Thanks gentlemen. I'll stick to my hand winch, snatch block, and assortment of ropes. Local blokes say the PTO winches can be dangerous if you are not super careful. And I'm not super careful.

So yeah. Series III won't go in. Pretty much everything is different to an LT95 PTO output.

I have a PTO winch on mine and it is fine, safetywise.
