Fuel pipe routing

Post by 5988 »

After a little help,

Could someone do me some pictures showing the routing of the fuel lines, towards the tank
(i.e from the pump backwards)

My stage 1 was missing them all, and the manual is a bit vague in this area

Thanks

No pictures, sorry. Mine run along the top of the off-side chassis rail until they exit the seat bulkhead, then they run along the inside of the chassis rail. But I have two tanks, two facet pumps, two return pipes, and a solenoid to switch between them.

I think my civi ones should move and go along the side at some point ... just cant work out where and due to chassis repairs have lost the position of all the clips
Will need to be someone with a single rear fill tank then

Looks pretty much the same as mine for the rear tank except mine are clipped. The clips are positioned more less at the points as the cable ties IIRC. Note that I have a whole lot more wire running down to the back too. I am not certain the anchor points are critical, provided they are firm anchors and keep the lines away from hot (including wires) and moving things.

It gets more complicated between the pump and the engine. I think this is where you need to be more careful/specific about where to clip, etc.
