Hi there,
I don't own a stage 1 V8, but have driven some and rather like them...my main thing is 1-ton 109"s, but i`m here to share with you some photos I found of a special stage 1...
Later replaced with a 6x6 110 V8.
Cheers,
Dan

I kept a reference to a Stage1 cherry picker that sold within the last year or so. It could even be the one as pictured as I remember it being the same colour. It wasnt on the road but it was very complete and in reasonable condition. The reg was SRD 819Y which matches the b&w photo.

My guess is a lot of them ended up in private use off-road, so DVLA shows them as untaxed, but they are still about. This was the case with a IIB cherrypicker (now former cherrypicker) which surfaced a couple of years ago.
Do you know what happened to the vehicle?
Please also see my thread on the Stage 1 V8 Station Wagons SEB used. I wouldn't mind tracking one of those down...

Interesting to know. I will have to keep my eyes open. Don't think I would go for a cherrypicker, but would certainly have one of the SEB V8 station wagons.Mrs Bingham wrote:No, I forgot to update my records at the time but I think from memory it sold for either 5 or 6k but I can't be totally sure. It is certainly the same vehicle though.
