New Stage 1 owner - Lebanon

Hello,

This is my first Land Rover and it happened to be a Stage 1 by pure chance. I saw it at a car dealer and immediately thought I had to have it.

Year: 1979 - v8

Besides the army, I haven't seen any other Stage 1 in Lebanon.

The previous owners modified it a bit, adding the DEFENDER labels to make it look like a new defender.

My modifications so far: power steering.











I will be planning to do trips in the area driving from Lebanon, through Syria, Jordan and maybe reaching the Gulf. Anyone interested keep me posted, we could meet or plan an event.

Stirling, I didn't do the power steering conversion myself, but i'll post the details later.

@Chaz: the white stuff is the Lebanese version of sand
There's some great off-roading here that I'm slowly discovering.

couldn,t see photo,s was a question mark where photo should be have got to do power steering mod myself have now got all the bit for it but have a few more jobs to do before I get to front of stage 1
