New Owner

Post by Impsville »

Hi,

I have just saved a Stage 1 from being scrapped, its a 1980 utility, all complete only just collected it, not got it running yet, its been laid up for 12 years

chassis and bulkhead are in very good shape with it just needing a Drivers footwell, that will be done in the next month when i get time.

its on Parabolics with full stainless exhaust and headers, BFG's all round and swing away rear wheel carrier.

came with spare gearbox and brand new Clucth and spare fuel tank.

Price paid was less than a grand.

pictures to follow with more info once i have broken the news to her indoors, i think its time to admit 5 landrovers is too many.

Well, its finally arrived at Mine.

the delay was having to strip a 200 TDI Discovery of anything usefull. i have kept the engine to put in my Series 3 SWB.

engine swap in a 300 TDI Discovery.

Scrap the 200 TDI discovery Shell and chassis so i had room to park the Stage 1.

more under bonnet picks and inside to follow.

Looking good :)

Should be a good little project and luckily, there's not a lot to go wrong with them.

Like it - great all-round visibility but no second row doors to maintain or replace when they rust away!
