Hello all

Post by steeps »

Hi everyone,

Glad to have found this forum, looks like a great source of information, which I'm going to need as I rebuild my newly acquired 'barn find' Stage 1.

Name is Terry, located in Lincolnshire, UK, and the Stage 1 is a very dilapidated Station Wagon that has been sat in a yard for at least the last 5 years. Currently stripping it down to start rebuilding on a new galvanised chassis, which is now on order. Lots to do, bulkhead footwells, rear tub has rot by the wheel arches and rear door frames are shot. That's just what I've found so far, but only just getting started on it really.

This is my second chassis up rebuild having done a 1968 88" petrol a few years ago.

I have had the V8 running, it moved itself into the garage from the drive where it was dropped off from the trailer.

Thanks everyone, look forward to sharing the rebuild with you all. I will post some photo's on the main forum pages later.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum - and look on the bright side: I see it already has nice all ally military/early 110 front door tops - I had to pay a couple of hundred quid for mine!

That looks promising! Delighted that you're rebuilding her rather than breaking her for bits. I'll be following your rebuild closely, looking forward to it :D
