HI
I've wanted stage one for years and may now take plunge but could do with some experienced owner/s to give me quick advice - as I'm viewing tmrw!
I don't want to look like complete turnip when I get there. I have read a lot on here and many other sites, I've got form for classic cars having restored from off road wrecks - Lotus Elite, Auston Healey Sprite and VW camper all in the past ten years.
I have been without a classic since last year when sold me van and missing the fettling.
I'm in Leicester and noticed a couple of guys are also here or nearabouts.
anyone who would like to give me call for advice or maybe meet up I'd be most grateful for any help.....!
Otherwise I'll let you know how it goes tmrw.....
cheers

Hi mate,
Welcome aboard.
This is possibly the best online source for what to look for. http://www.lrfaq.org/Series/FAQ.S.look_for.html
Obviously, do the usual checks on the V8. Expect the gearbox to be a bit noisey.
