stage one from Djibouti

Hello,
I am French and I am living in Djibouti, since 2009.
I bought a stage one to restore It.
May be, I will need some advices for my project.
I know the engine, but that's all for the stage one

Great to see that your scratching your head wondering what to do with it!!!! Wish l had the space and weather like you to play with!
Think that will be the only time and picture l will ever see of 3 stage 1's in a pile. Handy for parts.

In fact there are 6 stage one (ex djiboutian military) I must to go to pick up some specifics parts.
I have the space and weather but not enough time.

So are you bringing a lot of the ex-military parts home with you?

I would think you'd have some unique opportunities for e-bay.

there are a lot of breaking land rover here
but I have not the place to pick "all the parts"

And I don't know all or interesting specifics parts

That ambulance body looks fairly unmolested and complete. On its own it could be worth a lot.

Seriously there is a lot of value in those components. The price of aluminium is on a high at the moment, scrap value.

It will be good to see how you proceed. If the engine has not run for 17 years and if there are not too much rubbish inside it, it could be in fairly good condition.
