Belgian Stage One owner

Post by Chris_G »

Hello

My name is Christophe, I'm 21 years old and about 2 months ago I bought my second Landie and my first V8 8). I also own a 1983 Series 3 88" softtop 2.25 diesel.
My 'new' one is a 1981 109" Stage One Stationwagon.

When I bought her, she was in a pretty good condition. The engine is running fine, brakes need complete overhaul, clutch is stuck and the chassis needs some welding. The body was complete and only needs some repainting.
Only the doors are very bad and I think it's not possible to save them.

I want to do a full body-off restauration to get it back in perfect new condition.

Here some pictures:

And my 88" during a roadbook yesterday.

Cheers
