A friend owns a Series III 109 and now I`m fully infected

My (and also my wifes) favorite Land Rover is an V8 Stage one 109, 5door Station, LHD, built 1979 to 1980 or at most 1981 in good condition. The limitation of the year of construction is reasoned on German tax law. To gain the reduced tax status in Germany a vehicle must be aged 30 or more years and in nearly original shape. The regular tax for a 3.5Litre engine is expansive enough to kill the pleasure
