4th Gear Problem

Hi All,
Whilst driving the Stage 1 today I had an issue when changing gear from 3rd to 4th. Unless I was very deliberate and precise, it would make an awful grinding noise as though it was hitting reverse.
Any ideas

It's hitting reverse. I had this on your car when I bought it. There is a bolt that clamps the reverse selector onto the shaft also attached is a spring which you have to pull against to select reverse sometimes breaks. When it happened to me the bolt had loosened and the spring had pulled the selector over allowing reverse to be selected when changing from 3rd to 4th. It's an easy fix but the tunnel has to come out and the top access plate unbolting . Sorry difficult to explain however all becomes clear with a picture or a lookie...
Shall put it on the list of jobs to do????????????
