Need some part numbers

Post by 5988 »

Struggling to find part numbers for some bits I need

The spare wheel rests on the bonnet - 4 off them, round things

The ties that hold the wiring behind the dash - these

The connector onto the brake pressure switch, on the chassis

Any help appreciated

The part number of those cable straps is PRC1122 but they don't seem to be available anymore. L.R.Series sell a cable tie they say can be used instead:

The spare wheel fittings on the bonnet aren't shown in my Series 3 parts book, and it appears to show the connector onto the brake pressure switch to be part of the main wiring harness for the 109 V8, so I can't help you there.

Cheers, will give them a try

That's the problem I have in the pressure switch, manual days part of the loom - not mine it isn't
Ah well, will go looking for one and chop it out

I'm sure I've seen a part no for the buffers somewhere, one of the forums just can't find it now and never found it in the parts book

Think I've found it for you (the spare wheel buffers) - MRC4619 :

http://www.brit-car.co.uk/search.php?xSearch=MRC4619 and

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/li ... ch=MRC4619

Good luck with the brake pressure switch connector!

For future reference the cable ties sold as replacements for prc1112 are not the same. They need a much smaller hole, so will not fit in place of the originals. They do the same job but access isn't easy to drill new, smaller holes
