engine problems

Post by landykeith »

Just finishing replacement new bulkhead, and engine won't turn. :( I have done the usual checks to starter and solenoid - fine; a d removed plugs and loosened alternator belt. The starter tries to turn but only a few degrees movement on crank. Can't turn with starting handle, but strangest is that even seemingly in gear the vehicle can be moved freely. Any ideas? Could it be a clutch problem or is it a dreaded engine seize!

Try putting some oil down the plug holes, leave it for a while then get a breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt. Chris
